Buttercream Icing

This recipe is a perfect amount for icing a batch of cookies, however I would double or triple it when using for cupcakes, cakes, or other desserts.

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 cups confectioners sugar
  • 3 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tbsp whole milk


  • Using a mixing attachment, whip together ingredients until smooth and fluffy. 
  • Use immediately or keep in refrigerator for up to 3 days.
